Collina, meaning hill in Spanish and Italian, sits above eight and a half acres of manicured grounds surrounded by wooded hillsides. A steep circular driveway leads to the steps of the house, offering an invigorating and meditative walk. Ancient camellias, towering hardwoods, and vibrant wildlife provide an enchanting setting that will truly take your breath away.
Collina House provides a magical landscape for restoration and renewal, a blank canvas for creative pursuits, and a stunning backdrop for film or television production.
Testimonials
Here's what our retreaters and guests wrote about us!
Collina is a magical place…the home, the land, the peace and quiet. My time there was rejuvenating, restful, and fun! My friends and I enjoyed all the home’s amenities and comforts. Our hostess, Claire, made everything so incredibly special. Outside, we enjoyed talks on the porches, saw lots of deer, fed the horses, and marveled at the trees, birds and did I mention the glorious peace and quiet? We loved exploring the area including the Natchez Trace, local cemeteries, an old church, and Port Gibson.
I can’t wait to return to Collina; it’s the perfect place for a getaway, to recharge and connect!
My stay at Collina was just the break I was looking for. The huge rooms, front porch and spansive grounds gave me the feeling of being free - free to relax, read and needlepoint. Claire was so hospitable and had fresh banana bread, yummy coffee (and LOTS of it) and healthy meals that nurtured me inside and out. Thank you Claire!
It was so peaceful and serene. I loved the recovery work and it renewed my spirit and soul. What a beautiful home with so much history and culture.
What an amazing experience. Collina is amazing and Claire has a wealth of knowledge about so many aspects of recovery. She catered wonderful, delicious meals and provided an excellent recovery experience. I left feeling restored with new recovery practices I can implement in my daily life.
